Poetic Musings
Thank you for taking this literary journey with me! Here I post personal thoughts on social issues, reflections about day-to-day living, and of course a healthy amount of stories inspired by the many games I’ve played over the years. I try to update several times a week, and genuinely appreciate the care and support of all who read these words, whether the post is fanciful or heartfelt.
The Where to Start page has great suggestions for first-time visitors, and all posts are sorted by the Categories you see in the right-side menu; feel free to narrow things down!

DC: Dazzlers
Facing the catastrophic disintegration of society, people do some weird things. I don't mean trapping and eating rodents for food, that happens any time supplies run low. Nor do I mean banding together in pack-like groups for self-defense—that makes sense from a basic...
Conquest: Aurora Nights
A surprised Red-Fang watched us enter the runic hall at the base of the Spire. "Am impressed," she barked, noting our battle-torn and bloody clothing. "Martial prowess good. But what proof of inner strength do you have?" I can't tell whose angry growl was louder,...
Appendix Two is a Lie
One of the books that most formed my early gaming experience was The Way of the Scorpion for the Legend of the Five Rings game system. A deep dive into the politics, mentality, and hidden truths behind one of the most secretive organizations in the setting, it...
