Since entering the IT field in 2001 I have worn many hats and fulfilled many roles. Today my goal is to help my clients grow and achieve success by streamlining my company’s internal processes, finding new opportunities for efficiency, and managing an effective team of quality engineers. Much of my focus is how to improve our services, in order to better service our customers.

I am passionate for Linux, information security, and automating repetitive tasks. Having worked in every role from help desk to system administrator, project engineer, and C-level executive, I understand modern business IT needs from the ground up and the top down. Overseeing all internal processes and service teams, I am responsible for the development, deployment, and efficacy of our products and services. In addition to providing support and management for our service team, I identify opportunities for process improvement, work with upper management to make strategic goals, and identify key performance metrics.

MSMB Networks, November 2009 to December 2014

Co-founding a managed service provider, I managed partner relationships, maintained internal systems, and identified areas of growth and opportunity. Providing top escalation for technological and account management issues, I also drove sales and qualified potential vendors. Management of internal staff as well as standards and technological best practices.


Systems Administrator

IODA, June 2008 to November 2009

Responsibilities included designing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing internal systems for an international mixed-platform corporate network. Created efficient reporting scripts and streamlined the internal- and external-facing ticket tracking system. Integrated and troubleshot internal communications tools and systems on three continents.


Systems Administrator

Sonic.net, January 2006 to March 2008

Managed more than one-hundred Linux servers (mail, news, backup, web, and custom deployment) on infrastructure spanning the country. Developed, deployed, and maintained custom internal and external tools for use with business-critical systems and customer deployments.
