Ever since the mess in Chicago came down, and I’m talking about Alamos 20,000 blowing up the IBM Tower—which some say kicked off all the subsequent bug activity, but that’s neither here nor there—ghosts around the globe started getting a bit more active. Some have even managed to keep enough sanity to start orchestrating things here in meatspace.

Here’s the real kick, boys and girls: the Johnson doesn’t want you to flush out spooks from a place or anything of the sort—the Johnson is a ghost, and it wants the fine folks who moved into their old house out of there.

Believe me, I don’t know how this spectre can work a credstick but not scare a family out of the building, but its money is good and spends just like anyone else’s.

I should point out that this is not a wetwork job by any means. Your crew is careful an’ all, but it was the Johnson’s specific instruction that the message be passed along—nothing lethal, even by accident. Something tells me the once-and-future owner doesn’t want any other ghosts crowding them out. Get in, convince the residents to leave, permanently, and get out.

If nothing else, pull this off and you’ll have one heck of a story to tell around the campfire.

What do you say?
